SECTIONS
MAIN
The MAIN section forms the core of the fair and is dedicated to galleries presenting contemporary designers. Curated booths remain a defining feature of COLLECTIBLE.
Galleries are positioned through a considered layout, creating affinities between different practices, from decorative to more experimental approaches, while allowing each to maintain a clear identity.
NEW GARDE
NEW GARDE is dedicated to collectives and not-for-profit structures established within the past three years.
Bringing together a range of formats, from physical spaces to digital platforms, as well as initiatives rooted in alternative or domestic contexts, the section highlights new structures shaping the field today.
BESPOKE
The BESPOKE section is dedicated to commissioned work presented by independent design studios. The section highlights practices engaged in close dialogue with clients and has led to significant commissions.
A focused presentation is encouraged, favouring concise, tightly edited selections over broader displays.
FASHION
Recognizing the substantial market overlap between fashion retail and bespoke design, COLLECTIBLE introduces its newest section, FASHION. Dedicated to furniture tailored to the fashion world, including retail spaces and fashion shows, this initiative aims to foster encounters and commissions between design galleries, studios, and the fashion industry. This year’s Fashion section is chaired by Executive Digital Director at Harper's Bazaar, Lynette Nylander.
CURATED
The CURATED section, dedicated to emerging and mid-career independent designers and design studios, is a space for radical experimentation and discovery where participants are invited to explore pioneering ideas and processes in design. For its 3rd New York edition, the CURATED section will be curated by Alex Tieghi-Walker, founder of TIWA Select.
