Sophie Dries
Architect & Interior Designer, Founder of Quartz Café
Sophie Dries is an architect and designer trained at ENSA Paris-Malaquais, Aalto University in Helsinki, and in Contemporary Art at the École du Louvre. After collaborating with Jean Nouvel, Pierre Yovanovitch, and Christian Liaigre workshops, she founded her studio in Paris in 2014, later opening in Milan in 2017.
Her practice moves between architecture, interior design, and collectible design, developing projects and objects that combine spatial precision with artisanal craftsmanship. She works closely with makers and explores materials such as ceramics, textiles, and furniture pieces through an experimental lens.
Following a residency at the Jørn Utzon Foundation in Mallorca, where she developed TRACES, her first rug series, her work has been presented internationally at Salone del Mobile, PAD London, and COLLECTIBLE Brussels, and shown by galleries including L’Éclaireur, Nilufar, and Giustini / Stagetti. Her approach is grounded in Genius Loci, shaping each project through a deep reading of place, context, and material identity.
Lionel Jadot
Architect, Interior Designer, Artist & Filmmaker, Founder of Zaventem Ateliers
Lionel Jadot is a Brussels-based interior architect, designer, artist, and filmmaker whose multidisciplinary practice blends design, storytelling, and experimentation. Working from Zaventem Ateliers, he creates interiors and objects that transform discarded or unexpected materials into new forms, combining wood, metal, and organic matter into hybrid sculptural compositions.
His work draws on retro-futurist, cinematic, and graphic influences, constantly navigating between past and future, where reuse and transformation become central creative drivers. Through both spatial and object-based work, he develops immersive environments that challenge conventional design boundaries, focusing on material intuition, narrative, and transformation over time.
