These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase and use of tickets for events organised by COLLECTIBLE ASBL (the “Organiser”).
By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser and/or visitor (the “Visitor”) agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Ticket Purchase
Tickets for COLLECTIBLE may only be purchased through the official ticketing channels designated by the Organiser.
All prices are stated in EUR and include applicable VAT unless otherwise specified. Additional service or booking fees may apply depending on the ticketing platform.
A ticket purchase is considered final once payment has been successfully completed and confirmation has been issued to the purchaser.
Visitors are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during purchase is accurate.
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law and EU consumer legislation, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to tickets purchased for leisure events scheduled on a specific date or period.
Therefore, once purchased, tickets cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded, except in the circumstances described in these Terms & Conditions.
Refunds and Event Cancellation
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
Refunds will only be issued in the following circumstances:
Event cancellation
If the event is cancelled entirely by the Organiser, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the ticket’s face value.
Event rescheduling
If the event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new date. If the Visitor cannot attend the new date, refund instructions may be provided by the Organiser.
Refunds, when applicable, will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase.
Service fees, booking fees, travel costs, accommodation costs, or other related expenses are not refundable.
Event Programme Changes
The Organiser reserves the right to modify elements of the event including but not limited to:
• participating galleries, artists, speakers, or exhibitors
• programme schedule
• opening hours
• venue layout
• installations or exhibitions
Such modifications do not entitle the ticket holder to a refund.
Admission
Each valid ticket grants admission to one person for the date and time indicated on the ticket.
Visitors must present a valid ticket (digital or printed) upon entry.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission if:
• the ticket is invalid, duplicated, or altered
• the venue capacity has been reached
• security or safety regulations require it
Re-entry may be subject to venue policies.
VIP and Vernissage Access
Certain tickets may grant VIP access, including entry to the COLLECTIBLE Vernissage (preview event).
VIP ticket holders may benefit from:
• access to the vernissage preview
• priority or dedicated VIP check-in
• early access to the fair
VIP privileges apply only to the named ticket holder and may require presentation of valid identification.
The Organiser reserves the right to modify VIP benefits if necessary for operational or security reasons.
Conduct and Protection of Works
COLLECTIBLE is a design fair presenting unique and collectible design works.
Visitors must respect the works exhibited and comply with instructions provided by exhibitors, staff, and venue personnel.
Visitors are not permitted to touch, handle, sit on, move, or otherwise interact with any works, furniture, objects, installations, or displays, unless explicitly authorised by the exhibitor or fair staff.
The Organiser reserves the right to:
• remove visitors who do not respect these rules
• hold visitors responsible for damage caused to exhibited works or installations
No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
Security and Prohibited Items
For security reasons, the Organiser reserves the right to conduct bag checks and security screening upon entry.
The following items may be prohibited inside the venue:
• large bags or suitcases
• dangerous objects
• illegal substances
• professional photography or filming equipment without prior approval
Additional venue security policies may apply.
Photography and Filming
Photography and filming may occur during the event for promotional or editorial purposes.
By attending the event, Visitors consent to the use of images or recordings in which they may appear for promotional and marketing purposes related to COLLECTIBLE.
Professional photography or filming inside the fair requires prior approval from the Organiser.
Certain exhibitors may restrict photography within their stands.
Ticket Resale
Tickets may not be resold for commercial purposes or above their face value.
Unauthorised resale may result in ticket invalidation without refund.
Tickets purchased through unofficial channels may be refused entry.
Liability
Attendance at the event is at the Visitor’s own risk.
The Organiser shall not be liable for:
• loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
• personal injury occurring at the venue except where required by law
To the extent permitted by law, the Organiser’s liability shall be limited to the face value of the ticket purchased.
Force Majeure
The Organiser shall not be held liable for cancellation, delays, or changes resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
• government restrictions
• public safety concerns
• strikes or labour disputes
• extreme weather
• terrorism or security threats
• pandemics or health emergencies
In such cases, the Organiser may postpone, modify, or cancel the event.
Personal Data
Personal data collected during ticket purchase will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Personal data may be used for:
• ticketing administration
• customer service
• event communication
Visitors may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data by contacting the Organiser.
Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Belgian law.
Any disputes relating to the purchase or use of tickets shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium.
Language
These Terms & Conditions may be made available in multiple languages.
In the event of discrepancies between translations, the English version shall prevail.
