Collectible, the fair for 21st century design.

A Weekend in Upstate New York with Club COLLECTIBLE

 

This September, Club COLLECTIBLE will gather in Hudson, New York, for a weekend of private tours, exclusive experiences, and conversations exploring the intersections of collectible design, architecture, interiors, art, and storytelling.

The weekend offers an opportunity to spend time with the people and practices shaping Hudson’s creative community, while connecting with fellow Club members and invited local designers, artists, architects, and collectors. From a private architectural home and artist studio visits to a conversation on storytelling through objects and spaces, the programme provides a closer, more personal encounter with the creative landscape of the Hudson Valley.

Hosted in partnership with Show: Room and Pocketbook Hotel.

 

Friday–Sunday, September 18–20, 2026

ITINERARY

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18

 

— Welcome Cocktail at Pocketbook Hotel
Hosted by Tschabalala Self (artist), marking the beginning of the weekend with drinks and an informal gathering at Pocketbook Hotel.

 

— Informal Dinner
An intimate dinner bringing together Club members and invited guests.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19

 

— Private Visit to L-House by Steven Holl
A private visit to L-House, the Hudson Valley home designed by Steven Holl (architect), offering an intimate encounter with one of the region’s most distinctive examples of contemporary residential architecture.


— Studio Visit with Katie Stout
A visit to the studio of Katie Stout (designer and artist), whose playful and experimental practice explores furniture, objects, sculpture, and the boundaries between art and design.


— Private Tour of the Pocketbook Bathhouse
A private tour with Sean Roland (designer and co-founder of Pocketbook), followed by time for members to experience the bathhouse.


— Cocktail & Conversation at Show: Room
An evening conversation with Julio Torres (writer, comedian, and artist), Sean Roland, and Nancy Kim (designer, architect and creative director), moderated by Lila Allen (design and architecture writer and editor), with a special appearance by Misha Kahn (designer and sculptor). The conversation will explore storytelling through objects, spaces, and the worlds we create around them.


— Dinner at Ambos
Dinner at Ambos, Pocketbook Hotel’s restaurant led by Argentine chef Norberto Piattoni, bringing Club members together with peers, designers, artists, and creative voices from the Hudson community.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20

 

— Studio Visit with Tschabalala Self
A private visit to the studio of Tschabalala Self, offering an intimate look into her practice and the space where her work takes shape. Followed by a walkthrough of Gallery 495.


— Workshop & Studio Tour with Available Items
A hands-on workshop and studio visit with Chad Phillips and Kristin Coleman (designers and founders of Available Items), exploring their approach to contemporary design, craft, and community. Members will go behind the scenes and take part in a hands-on making experience.

Participation in the programme is complimentary with membership and excludes accommodation and meals. Guests may choose to attend the full programme from Friday to Sunday or participate only in the Saturday programme; dinners and accommodation are optional. Pocketbook Hotel has reserved a selection of rooms for Club members at a preferred rate. The COLLECTIBLE team can also arrange transportation to and from New York City, as well as throughout the weekend, for an additional fee.
