Edition 2020

  • Architecture Atelier Tomas Dirrix (Rotterdam)

General scenography by Atelier Tomas Dirrix (NL). Based in Rotterdam and working with the cultural and material notions of building, the architecture practice seeks to create new organisation principles, relationships and processes. It designs architectural structures both as a spatial configuration and as a constructive idea. For COLLECTIBLE 2020 Edition, Atelier Tomas Dirrix will conceive a new atmosphere that will radically change how the visitors perceive the building.

  • Döppel Studio (Paris)

Döppel Studio is a Paris based collaborative design practice, working on the boundaries between art and design. The name Döppel comes from the german Doppelgänger, referring to the concept of double or alter ego. Döppel Studio produces works that include large scale projects, installations and objects.

“If Design often seems to have the sole aim of making life more comfortable, we consider it also has a way to invest a symbolic function, usually carried by the artistic discourse. We are looking for a design mobilizing, literally, body and spirit”

Made of complex and contradictory, paradoxical but complementary sensitivities, Döppel Studio is a collaboration of two designers, Lionel Dinis Salazar and Jonathan Omar.
