Julia

Ionova

Julia Ionova was born in Moscow in 1983. After receiving a degree in spatial design, she worked for about 10 years as a design director in an architectural studio specialized in hospitality design. Julia took a part in competitions and exhibitions like Orgatec and ISaloni. She started her own interior design practice under her name and works mostly on restaurant projects. Julia Ionova is now developing another side of her studio's practice focussed more on artistic furniture and objects, the Logua Family.

The wine bar is located in Yakaterinburg in a historical building. The main idea was to focus on great proportions of historical architecture. The bar is serving natural and biodynamic wine so there are many natural materials like marble? wood and cooper combined with symbolic mysterious objects. The dome is painted as a night sky with alchemist elements. This project is a fairytale for wine lovers.
