For the exhibition ‘Wat ik je nog wilde zeggen’ at TENT Rotterdam the Studio created 'The explanation on how a connection creates an obstruction'. A sidewalk that questions the idea of spatial design and an installation. A pavement that enforces a dialogue between the existing architecture. A walkway that explains, connects and obstructs both the space and the viewers presence. Rotterdam 2020
The scenography for Romeo & Juliet at Internationaal Theater Amsterdam consists of a raised balustrade that creates a communal dance pit. Two rising platforms brutally split up the space in two. Five digital clocks count down to the moment where one of the characters pass away. We all know how it ends. Amsterdam 2021
For Nina Spijkers’ ‘The Nether’ at Het Nationale Theater, the Studio designed three individual rotating shells creating a surrealistic maze in which time, place and character inevitable merge into each other. Seducing the audience to internally participate in the proposed ethical and philosophical dialogue. Den Haag 2021
